ThinkBrick Australia life cycle assessment

ThinkBrick Australia commissioned Energetics to undertake a full Life Cycle Assessment of the Australian clay brick industry. This involved collecting data directly from the industry on clay extraction, manufacturing processes, transport requirements, construction elements, and end-of-life disposal. The Australian Ecolabel Program

The Australian Ecolabel Program, managed by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA), is based on the international standard ISO 14024: "Environmental Labels and Declarations - Guiding Principles" which requires environmental labeling specifications to include criteria that are objective, reasonable and verifiable.
