Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012

The Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 replaced the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999. The legislation requires non-public sector employers with 100 or more employees (relevant employers) to report to the Agency annually. If the number of employees falls below 100, it must continue to report unless its number of employees falls below 80. The Act is administered by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency. Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Commonwealth)

The Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (previously know as the Trade Practices Act 1974) is administered by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. Anti-discrimination legislation (Commonwealth)

Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Commonwealth)

The Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act focuses on the protection of matters of national environmental significance. State and territory governments have responsibility for matters of state and local significance. ISO 26000 Social Responsibility Guidance Standard

ISO 26000 is an International Standard giving guidance on social responsibility - what it means, what issues an organisation needs to address in order to operate in a socially responsible manner, and what is best practice.
