MSS50116 core units

There are five core units in the MSS50116 Diploma of Sustainable Operations.

Together these core units provide a basis for these personnel to apply technical skills and a strategic approach to the range of sustainability issues within their responsibility.  They cover the skills for measuring, calculating and monitoring sustainability metrics across a big picture view of the organisation and drilling down into specifics. They also cover the skills for developing strategies and the business case for improvements.

MSS015001 Measure and report carbon footprint

This unit focuses on calculating the carbon footprint, which in this context means CO2 equivalent tonnes embodied in the product and then recommending how to reduce it. [Read more…]
